CFE's 2008-09 Fund for Teachers Fellows have been announced!
Fund for Teachers Fellowship
Fund for Teachers (FFT) fellowships enrich the professional growth of teachers by recognizing and supporting them as they identify and pursue opportunities around the globe that will have the greatest impact on their practice, the academic lives of their students and on their school communities. Fund for Teachers fellowships are awarded to teachers who work with students in grades Pre K – 12. To be selected, interested teachers must submit a proposal that details how their summer fellowship will make them a better teacher and how their improved skills or capacity will be implemented in the classroom, benefiting students, curricula and school. Post-fellowship requirements include a impact report and evidence of how they will use the experience to inform their classroom practice. Teachers are accepted based on the quality and merit of their application as judged by a committee. Individual applicants are eligible for up to $5,000 and teams that consist of two or more teachers can receive up to $10,000.
